Welcome

  • Welcome to The Go-Ahead!

This is intended to be a (generally) positive, fun blog. However, comments aren't required to be of the optimistic sort. Otherwise, what's the point of having comments?

Why "The Go-Ahead" as a blog title? To an author, getting the "go-ahead" from an editor means the publishing house is excited about the author's idea and wants to go to contract. In baseball, a "go-ahead" run is the one that--if the game is tied or your team is losing--puts your team in the lead. I like the forward-thinking connotations of the phrase.
